Why Trump's Least-Favorite News Network Is Under Fire on Twitter
CNN is all over Twitter again on Wednesday and it once again has to do with a meme the President shared over the weekend.
"#CNNBlackmail" is the second-highest trending topic on the social media platform after the network did an investigative piece on the Reddit user who created the meme Donald Trump shared on Sunday, showing him body slamming CNN.
The network's KFile team tracked the GIF down to a user named "HanAssholeSolo," but decided against publishing his real name in their piece.

View Story"CNN is not publishing 'HanAssholeSolo's' name because he is a private citizen who has issued an extensive statement of apology, showed his remorse by saying he has taken down all his offending posts, and because he said he is not going to repeat this ugly behavior on social media again," KFile said of its decision. "In addition, he said his statement could serve as an example to others not to do the same. CNN reserves the right to publish his identity should any of that change."
To some, that statement was interpreted as a threat to expose the Reddit user if he does anything they don't agree with in the future, leading to the #CNNBlackmail hashtag.
