He first began to rap in English when he first heard 50 Cent and Eminem’s tracks, but subsequently switched to rapping in Hindi. He uploaded his debut song, Voice of the Street, to YouTube in 2013, but it did not receive much notice.
Yeh Mera Bombay gained enormous popularity in Mumbai upon its release. While playing at the 2014 Blue Fogg Festival in Mumbai, India, he received a contract offer from major music company Sony Music India. He secured a deal with Sony Music India, and on April 16, 2015, they jointly released Meri Gully Mein – Divine feat. Naezy.
His song Chal Mere Bombay was a massive hit. He was also featured in the Netflix series song Kaam Pachhis was released on Netflix and Divine’s youtube channel with english subtitles. Divine announces a new music company named “Gully Gang Entertainment in 2019.
