Usher isn’t getting caught up in any dramas this time, as he ‘serenades’ Quavo’s rumored girlfriend, but not before getting his permission first.

It comes after Keke Palmer‘s boyfriend, Darius Jackson made controversial comments about her choice of outfit after Usher surprised Keke with a serenade of his single There Goes My Baby. This time, Usher made sure to cover his back, although Quavo has not confirmed that he’s in a relationship with Erica Fontaine.

Usher asks for Quavo’s permission to ‘serenade’ rumored girlfriend

After the drama, Usher is now taking a different approach to ‘serenading’ women at his Las Vegas residency, as he asked for Migos rapper Quavo‘s permission before singing to “his lady.”

Before singing his music hit There Goes My Baby to Erica, the 44-year-old asked: “Now Quavo, I hope you don’t mind if I just serenade your lady real quick.”

All appeared to be good as the Bad and Boujee singer seemed to give a signal of approval.

Usher then sang his hit to Erica, who he also gave the mic to at one point.

Of course, as a second one of Usher’s ‘serenades’ went viral online, fans took to Instagram comments to share their reactions, as some said he “can’t be stopped.”

“After that Keke Palmer incident, Usher been feeling boody af,” joked one fan.

“LOL Usher is so funny,” laughed another.

Another penned: Usher can not be stopped 🤣.”

“He don’t mean no disrespect, just making her feel special,” wrote one.

Who is Erica Fontaine?

Erica Fontaine is a gymnast and model, and fitness influencer who has over 600k followers on the platform.

Rumors of the two dating have been ongoing for months, although neither has officially confirmed it. However, Usher may have just done it for them.

Prior to this, Quavo was dating rapper Saweeti for more than two years, before their split in 2021. In a tweet at the time, the My Type singer wrote:
